reconciliation

Freya von Moltke left Kreisau in autumn 1945. She visited Kreisau at irregular intervals since the mid-seventies and kept in contact with the pastor of Kreisau and Gräditz Bolesław Kałuża, in whose rectory she was welcomed as a guest at each of her stays in Kreisau. She worked on remembering the Kreisau Circle in Krzyzowa and to build a meeting place on the former estate in Kreisau. During her last visit in 2004 the film “Freya von Moltke visits Kreisau” was made.
